Fix for using Cursor with GitHub Codespaces remote connection?

Is there a fix or workaround for working in Codespaces + Cursor? When I try to connect to a Codebase in Cursor it hangs on connecting/fetching and after 2-3 min prompted:

Failed to start VS Code Remote server.

This post a month or so back mentioned Cursor team is looking into this.

Any update? Thx!

FYI - I’m not having luck with Coder, either.

Still holding out hope here.

I’ve been trying to SSH into a Github Codespace using Cursor, but have not been successful.
